Dear Oakbrook Families,

As we welcome the first signs of spring, our school is buzzing with energy and excitement! This season brings a wonderful mix of learning, growth, and community connection.

April will bring new opportunities for learning. Students will also be participating in STAR testing, which provides an opportunity to show what they have learned so far this year and helps set the path for continued learning during the school year. As we look ahead, students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will begin preparing for state testing in May.

Spring is a season of renewal, and I’m so proud of how our students are blooming—academically, socially, and emotionally. Their continued growth reflects not only their hard work, but also the strong support they receive from home and school.

As we approach spring break, I hope this time provides an opportunity for rest and renewal—for students and families to reconnect, regain health, and recharge. The final months of the school year are full of important learning and memorable experiences, and we look forward to finishing strong together.
